About this file

This document is Addendum #01 to Bid Invitation 171-25 issued by the State of New Hampshire's Division of Procurement and Support Services, Bureau of Purchase and Property. The addendum pertains to a procurement for a Cutaway Van with Service Body (11,000# 2WD DRW) with a bid closing date of 5/5/2025 at 11:00 AM. The addendum addresses two vendor questions and modifies the original bid specifications: first, accepting a Knapheide body with a compartment depth 1" smaller than the original specification, and second, confirming that a "Galvigrip" bumper meets the specification. The bid specifications have been updated to allow either a roof-top ladder rack with access ladder mounted on the rear of the body curbside, or a side-mounted ladder rack.

The addendum emphasizes that all changes noted will supersede previously submitted documents and must be included with the bid, while all other specifications remain unchanged and valid. Vendors are directed to visit the state's purchasing website (https://das.nh.gov/purchasing/vendorresources.aspx) for complete bid details and addendums. The purchasing agent for this bid is Lincoln Adams, and potential bidders can contact him via email at NH.Purchasing@das.nh.gov for further information. The document provides a template for vendors to complete, including spaces for business name, address, contact information, and signature, facilitating a standardized bid submission process.

Question 1:

Would you accept a bid for a Knapheide body? Compartment depth is 1” smaller than the spec.

State Response:

The State will accept this modification to the required specification.

Question 2:

Looking for clarification on the pooched bumper terminology, I don’t want to assume, and it looks to be a bumper with holes punched up through creating additional grip like the Galvagrip bumper. Attached is an image for reference.

State Response:

The proposed "Galvigrip" bumper will meet the specification.

Bid Specifications Currently Read:

• Roof top ladder rack installed

• Access ladder mounted on rear of body curbside Change Bid Specifications to Read:
