A3 Promotional_Events_2024-2025.xlsx

This is a promotional events schedule spreadsheet for the West Virginia Lottery's 2024-2025 retail marketing campaign. The document outlines a comprehensive series of promotional activities conducted across multiple locations throughout West Virginia, coordinating with various retail partners including convenience stores (Sheetz, Go Mart, Little General, Love's), grocery stores (Piggly Wiggly, Giant Eagle, Mountaineer Mart), and regional festivals and events. The promotional strategy features "Wheel Spin" interactive games and demonstrations at individual retail locations during specified two to four-hour windows, typically scheduled during afternoon or evening hours on weekdays and weekends. Major anchor events include participation at the West Virginia State Fair (running August 6-17, 2025 with daily 12-6 pm operations), Spring and Fall Flea Markets at the State Fair grounds, regional festivals such as the Strawberry Festival in Buckhannon (May 16-17, 2025), Elkins Forest Festival (October 1-4, 2025), and the Apple Butter Festival in Berkeley Springs (October 11-12, 2025). Additionally, the schedule incorporates sponsorships of college sporting events at West Virginia University and Marshall University, trade shows, and community celebrations including the Upper Ohio Valley Italian Festival in Wheeling (July 25-27, 2025). Setup and breakdown activities are scheduled for the day before and after major multi-day events to ensure proper equipment installation and removal.

The schedule demonstrates a strategic geographic distribution across West Virginia's major population centers and tourist destinations, with events allocated from January through December across both 2024 and 2025. Retailer locations are identified with store numbers and complete addresses, enabling coordinated logistics and inventory management. The promotional campaign appears designed to increase retail visibility and player engagement across the state's convenience store and grocery retail networks while capitalizing on high-traffic community festivals and sporting events to maximize audience reach and brand awareness.
