About this file

This document contains a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and details of a related federal contract opportunity. The CDRL outlines reporting requirements for failure analysis and trend reporting related to a Common Hardware Systems 6th Generation contract. Key details include:

  • The CDRL (B003) requires the contractor to analyze hardware failure data and identify trends of 4% or more occurring across configurations. An initial trend report is due 15 days after identification, with the Government providing comments within 10 days and a final report submitted 10 days later.

  • For some hardware, the contractor must perform Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System analysis and recommend solutions for identified trends.

  • The opportunity is for the Common Hardware Systems 6th Generation (CHS-6) contract, a 10-year IDIQ with a total estimated value of $7.9 billion. The contract supports the Army's Product Lead Common Hardware Systems and provides total lifecycle solutions including equipment, services, task orders, and technology insertions.

  • Awards will be made using best value tradeoff, with the potential for award without discussions. Proposals are due as specified in the solicitation, which is accessible on SAM.gov along with any amendments. The contract involves the Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command, and Product Executive Office Command Control Communications-Tactical.
