About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for a County procurement involving the installation and commissioning of an air compressor system. The vendor shall furnish and install a compressor system at a designated County facility with installation completion required by August 17, 2026. The scope includes mechanical assembly, connection to the existing compressed air distribution header, condensate drain line connections, and verification of all safety devices and controls. The vendor is responsible for delivery via lift-gate equipped truck with offloading and staging at the installation site, and must ensure all components can pass through a 46-inch wide doorframe without structural modification. Additionally, the vendor shall provide factory-authorized startup and commissioning with documented commissioning data submitted within five business days of completion, conduct a minimum of two hours of on-site operator and maintenance training, and provide an Operations and Maintenance manual.
The pricing structure consolidates all costs—including the compressor system, installation, training, and warranty—into a single line item with the total cost to be specified by the vendor. The warranty package includes 24 months coverage for the compressor pump from acceptance and 12 months of parts and labor coverage for the system. The County is responsible for site readiness (providing a level, reinforced concrete floor adequate for unit weight), electrical rough-in (conduit, disconnect switch, and branch circuit wiring), and compressed air distribution piping beyond the system outlet. The vendor must provide certified weight data at least ten business days in advance of delivery and coordinate delivery access with the County at least five business days before the scheduled delivery date. An optional extended warranty coverage for years one through five is available at an additional cost to be specified by the vendor. All required permits, licenses, and calibration certificates are the vendor's responsibility and expense.
