About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for a County procurement of an air compressor system installation and commissioning. The County is requesting a complete air compressor package that must be delivered and installed by August 17, 2026. The vendor shall furnish all labor, tools, rigging, and incidental materials necessary for mechanical assembly, component reconnection, connection to the existing compressed air distribution header, condensate drain line connection, and verification of all safety devices and controls. The package includes factory-authorized startup and commissioning with documentation submitted within five business days of completion, operator and maintenance training conducted on-site for a minimum of two hours by the vendor's factory-authorized technician, and delivery via lift-gate equipped truck with offloading and staging at the installation site. A critical requirement stipulates that all components and sub-assemblies must pass through a 46-inch wide doorframe without structural building modifications.
The pricing structure requires vendors to submit a total cost encompassing the system, installation, training, and warranty as a single line item. Warranty coverage includes 24 months on the compressor pump from acceptance and 12 months parts and labor on the system. The County is responsible for completing electrical rough-in, including conduit, disconnect switch, and branch circuit wiring prior to the vendor's installation visit, and for providing compressed air distribution piping beyond the system outlet connection point. The vendor must obtain all required permits, licenses, and calibration certificates at their own expense and coordinate delivery access with the County no less than five business days prior to the scheduled delivery date. An optional extended warranty coverage for annual rates (1-5 years) is also available for vendor pricing.
