About this file
This is a procurement specification document for a County government contract involving the installation and commissioning of an air compressor system. The vendor is required to furnish and install a complete compressor system by August 17, 2026, including mechanical assembly, connection to the existing compressed air distribution header, condensate drain line connections, and verification of all safety devices and controls. The scope encompasses factory-authorized startup and commissioning with documented commissioning data submitted within five business days of completion, as well as mandatory on-site operator and maintenance training lasting a minimum of two hours. All components must be capable of passing through a 46-inch doorframe without structural modification, and delivery shall be via lift-gate equipped truck with vendor offloading and staging at the installation site. The vendor must coordinate delivery access at least five business days in advance and provide disassembly documentation and reassembly instructions if required for transport.
The contract includes a 24-month warranty on the compressor pump from acceptance and a 12-month parts and labor warranty on the system, with optional extended warranty coverage available on an annual basis for years one through five. All costs for the system, installation, training, and standard warranty are included in the total contract price. The County is responsible for electrical rough-in work, compressed air distribution piping beyond the system outlet, and site readiness including a level, reinforced concrete or structural floor. The vendor must provide certified weight data at least ten business days before delivery and is responsible for all required permits, licenses, and calibration certificates at vendor expense. Pricing is presented as a single line item with all costs included, though optional extended warranty rates are also specified.
