The scope encompasses design, fabrication, and installation of approximately 2,175 wayfinding and directional signs across nine Franklin County downtown government facilities: Franklin County Parking Garage, Front Street Parking Garage, Franklin County Office Tower, Michael J Dorrian Building, Court of Common Pleas, Pavilion, Fulton Street Building, Juvenile Intervention Center, and front street facilities. Signage types include room identification signs, restroom identification, directional wayfinding, evacuation maps, elevator directories, stairwell identification, and parking directional signage. The contractor must obtain a Sign Agent Mobile License and provide iPad documentation for installation tracking; coordinate phased installation prioritizing stairwell completion first followed by floor-by-floor work; and attend bi-weekly on-site meetings with the owner's representative and PLANIT Studios.
Vendors must maintain comprehensive general liability insurance up to $1 million single limit occurrence, umbrella/excess coverage of $2 million, automobile liability of $1 million, cyber insurance of $500,000, and professional liability of $1 million. All proposals must remain firm for 180 days. Written questions are due April 10, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. EST, with answers posted April 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EST. The County intends to award one contract but reserves the right to award multiple contracts. Evaluation includes initial compliance review, full evaluation on completeness, responsiveness, experience, qualifications, pricing, project approach, and references, with optional Phase 3 interviews and local preference points for vendors with no offshore presence. Contract service is estimated to begin in June 2026.
