About this file
This document outlines performance standards for a federal contract to provide environmental, medical, and occupational health services to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and other NASA locations. The contractor will be required to meet minimum acceptable performance levels across 80 tasks, including providing environmental compliance support, environmental health support, aerospace medicine support, occupational health support, and environmental and occupational health support to the 45th Space Wing at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and Patrick Air Force Base. Key performance metrics include meeting timeliness standards for reports, responses, sampling, analysis and clean-up activities; achieving safety and quality targets; and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Performance will be monitored through contractor reporting, government inspections and audits, customer feedback, and review of safety and medical incident data. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside for North American Industry Classification System code 541620, with a size standard of $16.5 million.

* Each individual work request is to be completed within the stated time limit. The Government does, however, recognize that certain circumstances may prevent the Contractor from completing a few work requests within the time limit. Additional time may be required to access restricted facilities, process a unique waste stream, modify subcontracts, or investigate alternative cost-effective recycling/disposal options. For those instances, the Contractor may request an exception or extension from the NASA Environmental Assurance Branch.
** Each individual work request is to be completed within the stated time limit.
