This is Amendment A00007 to Solicitation 75H701-25-R-00002 for the Parker Duplex Quarters project issued by the Indian Health Service Division of Engineering Services in Seattle. The amendment provides responses to two pre-proposal inquiries dated December 20, 2024.
The amendment clarifies specifications for bedroom closet installations, requiring 3/4" particle board shelves with bullnose edges, solid wood cleats and dowels, and specific hardware requirements including KV Pro BC-0037 White rod sockets and KV 1195 White shelf/rod brackets. It also provides guidance regarding Factor 4 (Indian Economic Enterprise Representation), directing offerors to demonstrate how the prime firm will receive the majority of earnings from the contract. The amendment does not extend the proposal due date of 11/18/2024.

Solicitation 75H701-25-R-00002 does not include the liquidated damages clause at FAR 52.211-12 Liquidated Damages-Construction.
Contractor may use utility water by connecting to the existing 4” water line running along the street.
Note that a “hot tap” using a tapping sleeve and gate valve will be required, as there are no shutoff valves in the immediate area. Contractor must also install a backflow prevention valve to prevent contaminated water from flowing back into the main water supply.
Notify local utility (BIA) and adhere to any guidance they may issue regarding water use and metering. As the Indian Health Service is paying for the water, it is likely that BIA will only charge a connection fee.
The BIA point of contact is Steve McVeigh at (928) 916-2186.
