About this file
This is Amendment 004 to a federal solicitation for dry-dock repair services on the Coast Guard Cutter ALEX HALEY (WMEC 282) for Fiscal Year 2026. The amendment, issued by USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center in Alameda, California on February 10, 2026, provides answers to three clarification questions submitted by potential offerors and updates technical specifications. The amendment clarifies that the new Subsidiary Diesel Generator (SSDG) contract has been awarded to Caterpillar/Puckett Power Systems of Gulfport, Mississippi, with technical representative support available through specified points of contact; provides updates to the specification document regarding paragraph revisions, including removal of broken syntax in section 3.3.3.5, clarification of water regulating valve requirements in section 3.5.1, and correction of drawing references; and confirms that ZEP-B zinc anodes (3-inch diameter) rather than ZEP-C units are required for the Cathodic Protection work item. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the March 4, 2026 offer deadline at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time. All terms and conditions of the original solicitation 70Z08526QLREP0012 remain in full force and effect except as modified by this amendment.
