About this file

This document is a solicitation for the design and production of up to twenty-seven Waterways Commerce Cutters for the U.S. Coast Guard. The cutters will replace the agency's fleet of Inland Buoy Tenders, Inland Construction Tenders, and River Buoy Tenders to perform missions related to construction and maintenance of aids to navigation, repositioning river buoys, and positioning floating aids. The Coast Guard plans to award one Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Fixed-Price contract with Economic Price Adjustment terms. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses and provides for the procurement of long lead time materials, deep insurance spares, training, and ancillary support. Proposals are due by July 30, 2021 and the agency may make award as soon as January 2022. Offerors must register in the System for Award Management and comply with International Trafficking in Arms Regulations for restricted technical data.
