The County seeks a qualified service provider to perform quarterly scheduled preventative maintenance and as-needed repairs on commercial laundry equipment used daily at two jail locations: the Adult Detention Center (Metro Jail) at 3415 South 900 West, South Salt Lake City, UT 84119, and Oxbow Jail at 3148 South 1100 West, South Salt Lake City, UT 84119. The equipment requiring servicing includes one Milnor washer, five UniMac washers, eight UniMac dryers, and two Huebsch originator washers across both facilities. The Contractor must supply all necessary parts and labor as authorized through issued Purchase Orders, with off-site repairs permitted only at the County's discretion. During each quarterly preventative maintenance visit, all authorized machines must be serviced in a single visit, with tasks including cleaning, vacuuming, oiling, lubricating, evaluating fluid levels, drive belts, water inlets, discharge outlets, vents, air switches, cyclone components, seals, and overall operational condition, as well as inspecting bolts, screws, and weld points for loosening or wear.

The quarterly preventative maintenance price shall be inclusive of all normal labor and parts required to maintain equipment operability. The Contractor is responsible for performing full preventative maintenance inspections on each piece of equipment and completing minor adjustments and repairs as appropriate for each machine type. Emergency repair services beyond scheduled maintenance visits are also anticipated and must be addressed on an as-needed basis with County authorization via Purchase Order.
