About this file
This document is an Amendment No. 3 containing Questions and Answers for Solicitation No. 693JK425R500011, a Department of Transportation (DOT) project for Closed Circle Television (CCTV) System Modernization utilizing Bosch equipment. The solicitation involves installing 285 interior cameras in areas like parking garages, stairwells, suite entrances, and common areas, with four exterior cameras, and requires upgrading the existing Bosch Video Management System (BVMS) from version 12.0.1 to version 13.X. Key technical requirements include integrating NetApp storage units with existing Virtual Video Recording Management (VRM) servers, using specific Bosch camera models (NDV-5702-A-GOV and NDE-5702-A-GOV), and ensuring compatibility with six existing ADAM-6050-D modules for device input integration.
The Q&A document reveals specific implementation details, including infrastructure considerations such as wall types (concrete, drywall, modular), power stability, and cabling requirements. Notably, the government will handle anticipated cabling and electrical requirements, provide limited on-site equipment storage, and parking for the project team. Contractor qualifications include having both expert and master-level Bosch-certified field service engineers. The project does not require FISMA or FedRAMP compliance, and the security integrator is not responsible for addressing cyber risks. Most detailed technical specifications will be provided post-award, with the DOT Office of Security serving as the primary point of contact for camera field of view settings.
