About this file

This document is Amendment No. 1 to the Department of Transportation (DOT) Bosch-Brand CCTV Solicitation No. 693JK425R500011, dated August 25, 2025. The amendment removes the previous requirement that the contract awardee must be located within the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, while maintaining two critical requirements: (1) the winning company must be capable of providing and properly installing all specified Bosch-brand equipment at DOT headquarters (1200 New Jersey Avenue, S.E., Washington, D.C.), and (2) the company must provide at least two "fully qualified" field service engineers (FSEs).

The amendment was issued by James H. Mowery III, Contracting Officer for DOT/OST/M-63, and represents a modification to the original solicitation published on August 21st, 2025. No additional clarifications beyond these specific changes were provided in the amendment. The core objectives remain focused on procuring Bosch-brand CCTV equipment and associated installation and support services for the DOT.

Amendment No. 1

To

DOT’s Bosch-Brand CCTV Solicitation No. 693JK425R500011

This Amendment No. 1 completely removes—from the subject Solicitation No.

693JK425R500011’s August 21st, 2025 initially-published-in-SAM.gov version—any requirement, expressed or implied, that the Solicitation’s resulting contract-awardee-company be located within the Washington, D. C. Metropolitan Area.

But this Amendment No. 1 confirms that DOT cannot and is not eliminating the subject Solicitation’s requirement that the resulting contract-awardee-company be capable of providing and properly installing all of the Solicitation’s specified Bosch-brand-equipment in DOT’s headquarters located at 1200 New Jersey Avenue, S. E., Washington, D.C.

And this Amendment No. 1 further confirms that DOT cannot and is not eliminating the subject Solicitation’s requirement that the resulting contract-awardee-company be capable of providing at least two (2) "fully qualified" field service engineers (FSE).

This Amendment No. 1 provides no further clarifications concerning the subject Bosch CCTV Solicitation No. 693JK425R500011.
