There is no reference if the project will be providing the in water work permits, or if they are required. Please clarify if these will be required at all or some of the culverts, and if Federal Highways is obtaining the permits or if this is the contractor is responsible for obtaining these permits.

11 X
Moving 500 LF of barrier, pinning (if required), and setting attenuators does not allow for enough time to perform the work and remove the barrier to open traffic per 156.04. If it the CO’s intent to do this at each location listed in H.1‐H.3?
This will be addressed under Amendment A002 11/30/22
12 X
The contract traffic control restrictions listed in SCR Section 156.07(o) state “Do not operate more than two work zones that impact traffic at any given time.” How can this project be completed if our work zones (nearly all of which impact traffic) are tied up with utility re‐locations?
Per Section 107.02, more than half of the sites have no known utility conflicts. Additionally, the scope of work at many culverts does not require an excavated trench in the highway. Bid as shown.
12/2/22
13 X Do the utilities that need to re‐locate their facilities realize that the highway must be opened back up to traffic every day?
If utility relocation is required, utility companies are responsible for all work associated with relocation of their facilities.
12/2/22
14 X Will the current clearing limits/work limits be modified to allow for conventional and reasonable access at MP 15.51?
Clearing limits/work limit may be adjusted during construction subject to approval by the CO.
