About this file

This hold harmless agreement and federal contract opportunity outline plans for Beale Air Force Base to install a new utility water well and two agricultural wells. The hold harmless allows contractors to prepare proposals for a project that may not be awarded until December 31, 2022. Contractors would conduct site visits and develop designs and cost estimates without liability if the project is not awarded. The federal contract opportunity provides additional details on the scope of work. Beale Air Force Base seeks to install a new utility water well to replace an existing well, decommission the present well, and drill a new agricultural well near the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Area. Optional work includes installing a new electrical transformer to power the CVIA well, replacing a water tank, and drilling and solar powering two additional agricultural wells in nearby pastures. The contractor must furnish supervision, labor, materials and equipment to drill the new wells and connect them to existing infrastructure. The Air Force aims to award this contract through the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command.
