About this file

This is a Price Schedule attachment for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation issued by the Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD) Transportation Department for bird netting installation services at three bus station canopies. The project requires the installation of permanent avian exclusion netting at three designated canopy locations: West Canopy (1) measuring approximately 29,753 square feet, Center Canopy (2) measuring approximately 32,146 square feet, and East Canopy (3) measuring approximately 32,146 square feet. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the SLCSD Transportation Department located at 1745 West 1700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84104. Contractors who do not attend this mandatory meeting will not be permitted to submit a bid. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, hardware, and incidentals necessary to complete the installation, but excludes cleaning bird droppings, sanitizing, pressure washing, bird trapping, removal, deterrent devices, and chemical treatments.

Bidders must submit pricing on a lump sum basis for each of the three canopies, with all costs incorporated into a single total bid price covering labor, supervision, bird exclusion netting, attachment hardware, support cables, fasteners, anchors, installation equipment, lift rental, mobilization, transportation, and all other incidental costs. No separate line-item pricing will be accepted, and failure to complete the price schedule in its entirety may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Pricing shall remain firm for the first contract year, with annual price adjustments beginning in Contract Year Two governed by Section 3.3 of the IFB. No additional compensation beyond the lump sum amount will be paid except as authorized by a written contract amendment executed by the District. All questions must be submitted in writing through the Bonfire/U3P system or asked at the mandatory pre-bid site visit, with official answers provided only through the Bonfire/U3P system or authorized addenda.
