About this file
This is a Buy American Certificate template document required for federal contract compliance. The certificate serves as a contractor representation and certification that products supplied under a federal contract comply with the Buy American Act requirements, confirming that end products are either domestically produced or fall within authorized exceptions. The template requires the contractor to identify specific line items, certify their country of origin status, and acknowledge compliance with domestic content thresholds as applicable to the contract type. This certification is mandatory documentation in federal procurement and must be completed and submitted by contractors bidding on or performing government contracts, particularly those involving the supply of goods or commercial products. The certificate applies to the solicitation for Ice Makers and Medical Grade Refrigerators/Freezers issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 15 (VISN 15) at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where the government is procuring commercial equipment through a small business set-aside. Contractors responding to this RFQ (Solicitation Number 36C25526Q0500) must complete and submit the Buy American Certificate to verify that the ice makers, freezers, and refrigeration equipment offered meet Buy American Act requirements or qualify for applicable exemptions.
