About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) document for a federal procurement. The document outlines requirements for the supply and delivery of ice makers and medical-grade refrigeration equipment to the Harry S. Truman Veterans Affairs Medical Center under solicitation number 36C25526Q0500. The procurement includes five line items: one nugget ice machine dispenser (countertop model 25CI414A-L or equal), two laboratory freezers (model FFZR25-LB-RSD or equal), two medical-grade undercounter freezers (model FZR4P-0L-00-00 or equal), four biological refrigerator/freezers (upright, 18 cubic feet, model REFFZR21-GS or equal), and additional biological refrigerators (upright, 20 cubic feet, model REF20i-4S or equal). All equipment specifications reference Follett brand products as the standard, though equivalent alternatives are permitted under the "Brand Name or Equal" clause.
This is a small business set-aside solicitation issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under the Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services (FAR 12.202). The procurement utilizes a nonmanufacturer rule class waiver for NAICS code 333415 (commercial and service industry machinery manufacturing), which allows nonmanufacturers to provide end items from other than small businesses. The FSC/PSC code is 4110 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. Interested vendors must submit quotations including unit pricing and total pricing for each line item.
