ADDENDUM NO. 2

TO ALL BIDDERS:
The following additions, deletions, and/or changes or clarifications to the drawings, specifications, and bidding documents for this project, shall become and are hereby made part of the Contract Documents. They change the original documents only in the manner and to the extent stated. Each bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this ADDENDUM in the appropriate location on the bid proposal form.
This ADDENDUM consists of two (2) pages, including this page. All requirements of the original Specifications and Drawings and previous Addendum, if applicable, shall remain in force except as noted by this ADDENDUM.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS ADDENDUM IS TO CHANGE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Drawing Revisions:
1. Sheet G-110:
a. Construction to restore the temporary public entrance back to the employee entrance.
b. Replace sheet G-110 dated 3/11/2022 with sheet G-110 date 01/18/2023.
2. Sheet AE600:
a. Doors 001 and 002 were added to the door schedule for the work to restore the temporary public entrance back to the employee entrance.
b. Replace sheet AE600 dated 3/11/2022 with sheet AE600 date 01/18/2023.
3. Sheet AE601:
a. Finishes revised for the temporary public entrance, and to restore the temporary public entrance back to the employee entrance.
b. Replace sheet AE601 dated 3/11/2022 with sheet AE601 date 01/18/2023.
Specifications Revisions:
1. Replace Specification Section 011000 dated 3/11/2022 with Section 011000 dated 01/18/2023.
a. Text added to the end of Section 011400-1.1F to read as follows:
i. “Contractor shall substantially complete work in the man public lobby such that the main public lobby is not out of commission, and the temporary public entrance is not utilized for a duration in excess of 6 months (183 calendar days), or as approved by the property manager.
Contractor shall remove the existing curtainwall and install the new curtainwall between the months of April and October, and as approved by GSA’s property manager. Contractor is not permitted to remove the existing curtainwall and install the new curtainwall outside of this timeframe.”

b. Revised Section 011000-1.2A to read as follows:
i. “Commencement: The Contractor shall commence performance of the Work within 1 day after the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Contractor shall complete all contract work no later than four hundred and eighty-seven (487) calendar days (42-days for security clearances and submittals + 415-days for construction and contract closeout) after the Notice to Proceed is issued. Notice to Proceed will shortly follow award.”
c. Revised Section 011000-1.2B to read as follows:
i. Substantial Completion: The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the Work, as that term is defined in this Agreement, no later than four hundred and fifty-seven (457) calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
2. Add Section 092300 Gypsum Plastering to the Specification.
a. Minor plaster patching will be required for the temporary public entrance.
b. To restore the north employee entrance a CMU wall with plaster at the corridor side is required.
