About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for design-build services to replace the fire alarm and emergency communication system at two federal buildings in Concord, New Hampshire. The General Services Administration seeks to upgrade an aging Simplex fire alarm system that lacks key functions required by standards, including a voice evacuation system. The amendment provides additional attachments of floor plans and photos. It clarifies the existing elevator machine room walls are two-hour rated, and firefighter phones are in each stairwell landing. Specification details for detector locations and the need to coordinate with the existing alarm monitoring provider are also amended.
