About this file

This permit fees document pertains to the GSL Marina Water Line Replacement project (DFCM Project #22236510) managed by the Utah Division of Facilities and Construction Management in coordination with the Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District, Salt Lake City, and the Utah Department of Transportation. The document outlines all contractor-applicable permit fees and associated costs for the project, which involves installation of a new water line serving Great Salt Lake State Park and Great Saltair, construction of an above-ground water storage tank, and a booster pump station. The contractor must utilize the listed fees with no markup in base bid pricing and is responsible for all permits and fees, including those not explicitly listed. Fees were updated as of April 14, 2026, and reflect charges across multiple jurisdictions.

The permit fee schedule itemizes costs across Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District (excavation permits totaling $115,218.50, stormwater review at $2,424.94, and SWPPP-related fees), Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities ($52,434.58 total including connection and plan review fees), Salt Lake City SWPPP and traffic control permits ($352 combined), and UDOT encroachment permits with variable costs dependent on project duration and inspection hours. The contractor will be reimbursed directly for all permit and fee costs without markup, ensuring transparent cost allocation. Total identifiable permit fees across all jurisdictions exceed $170,000, representing a significant component of the project's overall construction cost estimate of $10.2 million.
