131. Keynote 5 on drawing T-601 states to run cat 6 from spare ports in existing switch to new telecom outlet.

Question: Where is the “existing switch” located that this keynote is referencing and shown in detail 2 of this same drawing?

Answer: For bidding purposes, bid connection to room B-106 shown south of security on sheet T-103.

132. There is no Fiber Route Plan shown. Each drawing Keynote 4 states “Route MMF from telecom room to racks in A-140 Dispatch”.

Question: Does each TR Room MMF Fiber run back to A-140 Dispatch as an individual dedicated homerun or do they loop between each TR Room ultimately ending up back at the A-140 Dispatch?

Answer: The spare Multi-Mode Fiber does not run back to A-140. Disregard the note about spare fiber. All fiber must be provided new.

133. Keynote 4 on all of the floor drawings states “Route MMF from telecom room to racks in A-140 Dispatch. Availability of spare fiber to be coordinated with OIT Question: This keynote appears to contradict itself. The first sentence tells us to provide MMF fiber and the second sentence tells us to coordinate the available spare fiber from OIT. Is contractor to provide new fiber or is contractor to coordinate available spare fiber to tie into from OIT?

Answer: Contractor shall provide all new MMF to establish a new LAN Network for SSTV. The new fiber does not have to be homerun to A-140. However, a break in-between the termination points cannot take down more than one head-end location serving cameras. In other words, a “Ring” network topology is acceptable. A “Bus” network topology is not acceptable.

134. Drawing T-101 IRM Room 139 note states “Fiber capacity to be determined”.

Question: The specs are clear on what fiber to provide for MMF and SMF. What does this note mean?

Answer: Disregard note. Fiber capacity was in regards to how many spare MMF may be available during construction. There is currently no spare and this project shall provide all new fiber cabling for a new SSTV LAN.

135. Question: Drawings T-102 through T-106 only show camera symbols. None of the camera symbols notate any of the Keynotes.
