B1: The Lead Paint sec on 028333.13 states: “removing and disposal of lead paint at interior and exterior loca ons indicated in exis ng condi ons report”. The intent is not to remove any paint, but rather perform the demoli on following OSHA Lead in Construc on rules, correct?

B10: We no ced the crawlspace floor was covered with a rubber material with termina on bars on the walls. And that the pipes had been abated and reinsulated with fiberglass. This is the type of asbestos contamina on encapsula on that the VA has done in the past. Can you confirm that the soils below the buildings are not contaminated with asbestos?
VA does not suspect soil contamina on. Contractor to bid assuming that there will be no contaminated soil disposal. If soil is found to be contaminated, VA will issue a change‐order.
