About this file

This is an addendum to an Invitation for Bids issued by the Macon-Bibb County Government Procurement Department for IFB 26-005-LH, 2025 LRA Paving Projects. The addendum, issued on August 11, 2025, by Laura Hardwick, Director of Procurement, provides clarification on project scope regarding milling and paving operations. The modification specifies that for the main line paving, contractors should proceed straight through without milling back into sideroads to the 20-foot radius; instead, on side streets, paving should extend only to the edge of the through street. Prospective firms are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid form.

No pricing terms, set-asides, funding sources, or contract duration information is contained in this addendum document. The addendum serves solely as a technical clarification to the original invitation for bids regarding project specifications and execution methodology.

ADDENDUM # 4

To: ALL PROSPECTIVE FIRMS

Re: INVITATION FOR BIDS: 26-005-LH, 2025 LRA Paving Projects

The Invitation for Bids, referenced above, is modified as follows:

1. Do you want us to go straight through the sideroads milling the mainline only, or do you want us to mill back into the sideroads to the end of the sideroad radius (±20’) on each one.

Answer: For main line paving pull thru. Do not pave to the radius on the side street. On side streets pave to the edge of thru street.

Please incorporate this change into the Invitation for Bid and acknowledge receipt of this addendum on your bid form.

Sincerely, Laura Hardwick
