About this file
This document is an Exhibit from the City of Dallas outlining the Standard for Change Management and Standards Release and Deployment Management. The exhibit establishes the protocol for acceptance of Equipment, Software, or Services by the City's Information and Technology Services department. It details the process for acceptance testing, wherein the Designated City Representative has the right to conduct comprehensive testing of deliverables to ensure they meet specified specifications, functionality, and performance requirements.
The document provides a structured approach for managing technological changes, including procedures for identifying and addressing errors in delivered items. If defects or non-conformities are found, the City will notify the Contractor, who must then address these issues. The final delivery is contingent upon the Designated City Representative's acceptance of the completeness and accuracy of testing, with the Contractor responsible for delivering the final Equipment, Software, or Service within an agreed-upon timeframe according to the City's Change Management and Release and Deployment Management standards.
