About this file

This exhibit document pertains to the Equestrian Court Stormwater Redesign project, a component of the Utah Water Department's Capital Improvement Program managed through a professional engineering services request for qualifications. The project involves the redesign of stormwater infrastructure at the Equestrian Court site, requiring the selected engineer to prepare comprehensive construction plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates. The scope of work encompasses site analysis, hydraulic modeling, and coordination with municipal stormwater management standards to address existing drainage deficiencies and implement improvements that comply with current regulatory requirements. The deliverables include final design documents suitable for construction bidding and permitting approval from relevant local and state authorities.

The project represents one of six Water Department CIP initiatives included in the 2027 design engineering services request. Specific pricing terms, contract duration, and funding allocations are contingent upon the overall professional services agreement resulting from the RSOQ process. The Equestrian Court redesign addresses critical stormwater management needs and integrates with the department's broader capital planning objectives for water infrastructure improvements throughout the service area.

EXHIBIT F – EQUESTRIAN STORMDRAIN REDESIGN PROJECT

PROJECT INFORMATION SHEET

The Equestrian Court Stormwater Redesign Project consists of approximately 220 LF of new 36-inch storm drain from the existing system at the end of Equestrian Court to the existing open channel.

The project includes a new catch basin, junction/cleanout manhole, and abandonment in place of the existing storm drain to the residential pond.

Item Project Information Project Limits End of Equestrian Court – see Project Map Approx. Length ± 220 LF Proposed Storm Drain 36-inch [ADS] Existing Storm Drain 36-inch [CMP in Equestrian Court] Drainage Structures 1 catch basin; 1 junction/cleanout manhole; 1 flared end outlet Survey Required Wetland Delineation Required Mining-Impacted Soils Not Anticipated Groundwater High groundwater anticipated Outside Agency Coordination SBWRD Property/Easement Needs Potential easement acquisition – to be evaluated during design

Project-Specific Design Considerations

• Existing Utilities: Coordinate with SBWRD regarding the existing sanitary sewer and evaluate potential utility conflicts.

• Wetlands/Outfall: A wetland delineation shall be completed as part of the design. Design the new storm drain connection to the existing open channel and identify applicable wetland, environmental, and permitting requirements.

• High Groundwater: Account for anticipated high groundwater conditions in the design and construction recommendations.

• Easements: Evaluate permanent and temporary easement needs. Easement preparation and acquisition are not included in the base scope but may be requested separately by

PCMC.
