About this file
The document is an Operations Security (OPSEC) Awareness Guide for contractors working at Dover Air Force Base, providing detailed security guidance across six critical areas: Personal Identifiable Information, Mission Capabilities, Force Readiness, Force Structure, Exercises and Plans, and Physical Infrastructure. The guide emphasizes strict information protection protocols, including using encryption for electronic communications, adhering to 100% shredding policies, limiting information access to authorized personnel with a "need to know" basis, and avoiding public discussions or postings of sensitive contract-related details. Key security measures include protecting personal information like Social Security numbers, restricting access to mission-sensitive data such as aircraft and logistics information, ensuring secure communication channels, and controlling transmission of technical details, diagrams, maps, and imagery only to specifically authorized individuals like Project Managers, Contracting Officers, and designated representatives.
