About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document from a site visit for Solicitation 140R4024R0024, GVIC Fish Screen Rehabilitation project, dated December 18, 2024. The document addresses two key questions regarding equipment delivery and staffing requirements.
The responses clarify that various Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) will be delivered in phases: CCS panels and enclosures are already stored at the work site; traveling screens are undergoing final inspections and expected on-site by award time; debris trough and conveyor will be delivered after award but before Notice to Proceed; and GFE spare parts will arrive with associated equipment. Regarding staffing, at least one Contractor Onsite Safety Representative must be present during construction activities, though this role can be performed by the Onsite Project Superintendent. While a full-time quality control representative is not required, the contractor must establish an inspection system to ensure quality per Specification Section 01 46 00 and FAR Clause 52.246-12.
