About this file

This document is a fire alarm test and inspection report for the Fort Vancouver Building 722 Administration facility located at 800 Hatheway Rd. in Vancouver, WA, conducted by Salem Fire Alarm on October 23, 2024. The comprehensive inspection was performed in accordance with state requirements and NFPA 72 Edition 2019, revealing several critical deficiencies that require immediate attention.

Key findings include two devices in the exterior southwest storage area that failed testing - a manual pull station and a smoke detector that did not report or go into alarm during the inspection. Additionally, the dialer battery has expired and needs replacement, and the AC power breaker is not locked as required by NFPA standards. The report mandates that these deficiencies be addressed, warning that unresolved issues will be reported to the local Fire Marshal's office. The system is also due for smoke detector sensitivity testing in the next year, and the report emphasizes that all previous year's unresolved deficiencies must be corrected promptly.
