About this file

This document is a pre-proposal site visit presentation for a federal contract opportunity to rehabilitate the El Portal Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) and Administrative Camp in Yosemite National Park, California. The solicitation number is 140P2025R0008, and the total construction value is estimated to be greater than $150 million under a design-bid-build contract with a single firm fixed-price and a period of performance of 1,460 calendar days. The project scope includes upgrades to the 45-year-old WWTF to improve treatment efficiency and meet current standards, as well as the rehabilitation of the former El Portal Trailer Village to be used as RV sites for construction workforce housing and a contractor staging area. The solicitation was posted on October 4, 2024, with an expected award in the first quarter of 2025. The National Park Service is the contracting agency, and construction management services will be procured via a GSA task order. The presentation provides details on the project timeline, vegetation and topsoil protection, and logistics for the pre-proposal site visit.
