About this file
This document provides details on six amendments to the solicitation for the NOCA Stehekin Fire Fighting Facilities federal contract opportunity. The amendments add specifications and notes to construction drawing C03 sheet 21 of 191. The additional specifications require removal of concrete debris and vehicles failing inspection from the project site. The new notes identify piles of rock, boulders, gravel and concrete to be removed to the park gravel pit, allow flexibility in mulch pile placement, clarify that multiple smaller trees are to be removed along with larger trees identified, and provide processing requirements for felled trees including limbing, cutting, and transport of logs and other material to park burn and log piles. The document also includes a question and answer where offerors are told they can propose standing seam roof anchor substitutions that meet specifications. The opportunity will establish fire cache, dorm and utility facilities for the National Park Service at Stehekin, Washington.
