About this file
This solicitation amendment modifies specifications for a federal contract to establish firefighting facilities in Stehekin, Washington. The amendment makes three changes to the solicitation. It adds requirements for the contractor's commissioning team to closely coordinate with government representatives on submittals, meetings, inspections, testing and site visits related to commissioning activities. The contractor must provide a 10-business day advance notice to the contracting officer prior to key commissioning activities. It also extends the look-ahead period in the construction schedule from two to three weeks for both the commissioning specification and the construction schedule specification. The related federal contract opportunity is to establish a fire cache storage and operations facility, housing for firefighting personnel, and supporting utilities in Stehekin for the National Park Service.
