About this file

This is a Textbook Master Price Agreement and bid schedule document for the Clark County School District in Nevada for the adoption of Geoscience and Honors Geoscience textbooks and related support materials. The Clark County School District solicited bids for textbook materials designed to integrate science and engineering practices with core ideas related to Earth and space science, including topics such as Space Systems, History of Earth, Earth's Systems, Weather and Climate, Human Sustainability, and Engineering Design. The bid opening date was May 28, 2026, with the contract period running from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2033, representing a seven-year adoption term. The bid contact is JB Dy-Ragos, located at 4212 Eucalyptus Avenue, Building #7, Las Vegas, Nevada 89121, with phone extension 702-799-5225 ext. 5131.

The pricing structure requires bidders to submit prices on both Schedule A (text materials) and Schedule A.1 (supplementary materials and services). Providers must certify that quoted prices represent the lowest prices charged for the same materials and services anywhere in the continental United States, consistent with a most-favored-nations clause, and agree to immediately disclose and adjust pricing if lower prices are offered elsewhere during the contract term. The agreement permits a one-time price increase after the fourth year of adoption, not to exceed the current price charged to other school districts. Delivery terms specify FOB Destination with Freight Prepaid to District-designated depositories, and providers must deliver within 45 days of order receipt or incur a penalty of one percent per day of the undelivered order amount, capped at the full value of undelivered materials. The District may share the executed agreement with all Nevada school districts and reserves the right to terminate without penalty for sufficient cause, including curriculum revisions, funding constraints, or diversity concerns, provided 30 days' written notice and opportunity to cure performance failures are granted.
