About this file
This is a Subcontractor Disclosure Form issued by the Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) for Contract No. 25-11, which pertains to a mobile on-site paper shredding services program for Bergen County municipalities and county-wide events. The contract focuses on secure, convenient disposal of confidential and personal documents to prevent identity theft while increasing mixed paper recycling tonnage. The initial contract term runs for twenty-four months from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, with one optional twelve-month extension period from January 1, 2028 through December 31, 2028. Single prime bidders are required to disclose all subcontractors they plan to utilize on the work, including those in the categories of Plumbing and Steamfitting, HVAC, Electrical, Structural Steel, Ornamental Iron, and General Construction.
Bidders must provide the names and license numbers of all proposed subcontractors along with evidence of performance security in the form of performance bonds and/or consent of surety documentation. No substitution of listed subcontractors is permitted without prior written consent from the Bergen County Utilities Authority. Performance security documentation from subcontractors must be submitted with the bid and must be in accordance with New Jersey statutes, covering the total dollar amount of the bid plus any alternates. This subcontractor performance security requirement is separate and distinct from the bidder's obligation to submit a bid bond to the Authority in the amount of ten percent of the total bid. The Authority retains the discretion to waive performance security requirements upon written notice.
