About this file
This is a State Business Organization Registration document for the Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) in New Jersey. The document establishes the organizational structure and registration details for BCUA, the owner agency managing the Municipal and County-wide Mobile On-Site Shredding Events contract opportunity. BCUA seeks to procure mobile, on-site paper shredding services to address residents' concerns regarding secure disposal of confidential and personal documents to prevent identity theft. The program aims to increase mixed paper recycling tonnage across Bergen County municipalities while providing convenient, cost-effective shredding events. The contract term is twenty-four (24) months from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027, with one optional twelve-month renewal period from January 1, 2028, through December 31, 2028.
The registration documentation provides the legal foundation for BCUA's authority to enter into the shredding services contract. No specific pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractor details, or funding source amounts are detailed in this registration file. The document serves primarily to verify BCUA's status as a legitimate state-registered business organization authorized to manage procurement activities and contract operations for Bergen County's environmental and waste management initiatives.
