About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation document (Amendment 0002) issued by the USDA Forest Service, CSA Intermountain Region for solicitation 1240LT26Q0137 regarding the Boise National Forest Lucky Peak Nursery New Greenhouse project. The amendment was issued on September 11, 2026, and is effective the same date. The quote due date remains September 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM Mountain Time, with a period of performance from October 15, 2026, to July 31, 2028. The amending contracting officer is Lonnie D. Root.

The amendment provides answers to three submitted questions regarding greenhouse controls systems. The key clarifications are: (1) bidders must provide an Axia control system platform rather than Titan, which is being phased out, and all references to Titan in Specification 133415 should be replaced with AXIA; (2) the approved control points list specifies inputs including inside sensor boxes for temperature, relative humidity, and light intensity, outside weather stations with anemometers and rain sensors, and crop sensors for soil moisture, electrical conductivity, and pH monitoring; and (3) vendors may provide their own suitable sequence of control operations rather than following a pre-approved sequence. The amendment states that all posted amendments will become part of any resulting award, and except as provided in this amendment, all prior terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
