About this file
This solicitation is for pavement replacement and repair services at the Ysleta Land Port of Entry in El Paso, Texas. The General Services Administration seeks a contractor to address approximately 725,000 square feet of concrete pavement selected for repair or replacement. The scope of work includes removing existing concrete and base materials, reconstructing pavement to depths of 8 to 10 inches, surface reconstruction, joint and crack sealing, and concrete patching. The contractor must also provide traffic control and temporary pavement. The estimated contract value is between $10 million and $20 million. The North American Industry Classification code is 237310 and the size standard is $45 million. This is a total small business set-aside. The deadline for questions is May 1, 2024 and responses will be issued by May 7, 2024. Proposals are due by May 16, 2024 and award is anticipated by August 1, 2024. The contract term is 362 calendar days from notice to proceed. The selection will be based on best value using a tradeoff process, with technical factors more important than cost. The selected contractor must provide all labor, materials and management to complete the scope of work.
