About this file
This document is a Payment Procedures section (Section 01 29 00) for the Vaults 60, 87 & ET Structural Repair and Grating Replacement project by KUB (Knoxville Utilities Board). The section outlines the administrative and procedural requirements for preparing and processing Applications for Payment throughout the construction project. It provides detailed guidance on creating a Schedule of Values, submitting payment applications, and the process for payment certification and disbursement by the Owner.
The payment procedures specify that Applications for Payment will be dated on the 1st day of each month, with the Owner having 10 days to review and certify payments. The Owner will make payments NET thirty (30) days from certification. No payments for more than 90% of the Contract Price will be approved until draft project close-out documents are submitted. The document requires contractors to submit comprehensive documentation with each payment application, including detailed schedules, work completion percentages, change orders, and supporting evidence. Special provisions are outlined for initial, substantial completion, and final payment applications, each with specific documentation requirements.
