About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to an Invitation to Bid issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation for the Enterprise Maintenance Station Roof Replacement project (ITB No. S-73000-00015915). The addendum provides the mandatory pre-bid meeting sign-in roster and agenda, approves Kingspan-KingSeam as an approved equal brand alternative to the basis of design (All Weather Insulated Panels Standing Seam SR2 with specifications of 24-gauge exterior, 26-gauge interior, 40-inch width, and 5-inch thickness), and modifies the Statement of Work and Plans exhibits. The project scope includes removal and disposal of existing metal trim, gutters, downspouts, fiberglass panels, roof metal, and insulation, followed by installation of insulated metal panels with white commercial-grade gutters and downspouts, gable trim, ridge caps, and coordination with ODOT personnel for antenna and equipment relocation. Additional work includes extending HVAC vents 24 inches above the finished roof, removing rooftop exhaust fans, extending the furnace concentric PVC vent, and verifying all dimensions and materials prior to demolition. The bid closing date remains April 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with requests for clarification, change requests, and protests due by April 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on Attachment A, Form A-1, or face bid rejection.
The addendum specifies technical requirements for the approved alternate roofing material, including detailed gauge, width, and thickness specifications, and mandates compliance with manufacturer recommendations for installation and material preparation. The addendum modifies Exhibit 5 (Statement of Work) with bolded and underlined new language clarifying material specifications, work outline procedures, and coordination requirements with ODOT personnel for equipment removal and reinstallation. Drawing revisions in Exhibit 6 Plans include removal of the note to reinstall exhaust vents and revision of the exhaust vent note to specify removal and disposal only. Buyer contact information is provided as Dave Dethloff via email (William.d.dethloff@odot.oregon.gov) or phone (503-569-8793).
