UNSPSC 60121006: Pictures

UNSPSC 60121006 Pictures is a Commodity code encompassing the selection, procurement, and installation of artwork, decorative imagery, and photographic services that state and local governments and public institutions acquire for facilities, events, and operational purposes. Recent solicitations show a split between artwork provision (decorative pieces, signage, and installations for healthcare and veterans facilities) and photography services (event, group, and team coverage for school districts). The code draws issuing bodies across multiple sectors: special-purpose healthcare districts, state agencies overseeing veterans facilities, school districts, and municipal governments. The work typically involves design consultation, material specification, installation logistics, and compliance with facility-specific themes—ranging from healing environments in healthcare settings to historical commemoration in veterans homes to athletic and academic event documentation in school districts.

Recent activity concentrates in Texas and Florida. The Texas General Land Office and Veterans Land Board solicited comprehensive artwork services including wayfinding signage, lobby displays, and military-themed installations for the Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home in Fort Worth (RFP 7925-SJ, due April 22, 2026); the City of Buda, Texas posted a request for Athletics and Activity Pictures (Solicitation 26104, due June 19, 2026); and Galveston County sought tree trimming and landscaping services. In Florida, the School Board of Seminole County issued Invitation to Bid #25260109B for event, group, and team photography services district-wide (due April 28, 2026), and Halifax Health, a special taxing district hospital, solicited artwork selection and installation for the Medical Center of Deltona expansion (ITB #PROJ-26-029, due March 5, 2026). All three recent photography or artwork procurements used pre-qualification and multiple-award structures, with response requirements including insurance certifications, background clearances where applicable, and compliance attestations specific to each jurisdiction's regulatory framework.
