About this opportunity

The State of Florida, through the Department of Veterans' Affairs (FDVA), is seeking a contractor to provide and maintain a new Automated Web-based Building Management System (BMS) for its eight nursing home facilities, one assisted living facility, and any future FDVA service locations. The system will be used to generate, collect, monitor, and manage various facilities maintenance functions, including work order submission, equipment inventory and life cycle tracking, preventive maintenance, and repair work scheduling and tracking. The contractor must be the publisher and owner of the software's intellectual property and source code, and will be responsible for the initial equipment inventory entry, data conversion and migration, training, monthly system access subscription, technical support, and system maintenance. The new system must be fully operational by June 30, 2023.

The solicitation is an Invitation to Bid (ITB), and the FDVA has not finalized the budget for this project. The contractor must provide a SaaS (software as a service) solution and will be required to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The FDVA has issued a Notice of Intent to Award the contract to zLink, Inc. and does not require any HIPAA compliance or integration with other state systems. The ITB does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and no incumbent vendors or current contractors are mentioned.
