About this opportunity

The Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs (FDVA) is seeking a contractor to provide and maintain a new automated web-based building management system for its eight nursing home facilities, one assisted living facility, and any future FDVA service locations. The system will be used to generate, collect, monitor, and manage various facilities maintenance functions, including work order submission, equipment inventory and lifecycle tracking, preventive maintenance, and repair work scheduling and tracking. The system must be provided by the software publisher and owner of the intellectual property and source code. Bids are due by February 15, 2023 at 3:00 PM local time and must be submitted by mail or in person, not electronically. The FDVA is seeking a SaaS solution and requires the new system to be fully operational by June 30, 2023. The contract term is for three years, with an optional one-time, three-year renewal.

The FDVA encourages participation from certified minority and veteran-owned businesses. The contractor must comply with background screening, employment eligibility verification, and insurance requirements. The FDVA has not finalized the budget for this project and indicates there is no existing maintenance management system in place, only handwritten work orders. Integration with other state systems is not required, and the FDVA will not consider extending the bid due date. The FDVA requires the use of FedRAMP Marketplace and will not consider a standalone system.
