About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking competitive sealed bids for the procurement of one-year maintenance services for various Polycom video conferencing equipment located throughout the state. The solicitation, posted on May 11, 2022, includes over 200 Polycom devices across multiple models, including RealPresence Trio, Visual Pro, Group 500, Group 700, and Pano. FDOT requires the selected vendor to provide Poly Branded maintenance coverage, and bidders must be authorized Polycom partners. Bids are due by May 26, 2022, at 11:00 AM local time, with a public bid opening scheduled for the same date and time. FDOT intends to award the contract to the responsive and responsible bidder that submits the lowest bid, with the potential for up to three one-year renewal periods. Payment shall be made in advance, and financial consequences may be applied if the vendor's performance is unsatisfactory.
FDOT encourages small, minority, women, and service-disabled veteran businesses to participate as both prime vendors and subcontractors. Bidders will be assessed a transaction fee of one percent (1%) of the contract amount, which will be deducted from payments to the vendor. No general liability insurance is required, but the vendor must be an authorized Polycom partner. FDOT has not identified any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and the solicitation does not provide a budget range or estimated award value.
