About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is requesting quotes for an Epson FX-890II 9-pin dot matrix printer as a micro purchase, with quotes due May 29, 2026. The contract will be awarded as a whole or by line item, whichever serves the City's best interest, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award.
The maximum contract value is $35,000, adjusted annually by the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) from January 1, 2020 (rounded to the nearest $1,000). The contract term is 365 days from the effective date. Prices must be quoted net and exclusive of taxes, with products delivered FOB Destination Point. Payment follows delivery and City approval upon submission of invoices and supporting documentation.
Quotes remain valid for 60 days from the submission date. Sellers must submit a signed Consent and Authorization Agreement prior to quote closing — either on file in the vendor's profile or attached with the submission — or quotes will be deemed non-responsive. Submission occurs through the PHLContracts electronic platform at phila.gov.
Sellers must maintain General Liability Insurance with limits of $500,000 per occurrence, Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, and Automobile Liability of $300,000 per occurrence. All vendors must certify they are not indebted to the City for delinquent taxes and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Philadelphia's business tax requirements and ethics regulations prohibiting discrimination and conflicts of interest. The contract is governed by Pennsylvania law, with disputes brought in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County.
Submission of the optional LGBTQ Applicant Opportunity Data Form is voluntary. No delivery or services should commence until official notification from the department.
