About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (the Department) is seeking to contract with The Crawford Group for Season Three of "Flip My Florida Yard," a television series that provides public education and promotion for the Florida-Friendly Landscaping (FFL) Program. The 10-episode series will feature "flip" segments, "Yard Science" segments, and "Maintenance Moment" segments focused on the 9 FFL principles. The Department will have access to the episodes, b-roll footage, and high-resolution stills. The contract term is approximately 18 months, with a total estimated value of $648,000, and includes fixed-price tasks for casting, pre-production, production, content delivery, and remaining associated content and distribution. The Department has determined that The Crawford Group is the sole source for this contract, as they own the rights to the "Flip My Florida Yard" brand and have existing relationships and resources to execute the project within the proposed budget.
Prospective vendors who believe they can provide these services were requested to submit relevant information by May 16, 2022, after which the Department will determine if a single-source contract is justified. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and no incumbent vendors or current contractors were listed. The available budget for this contract is $648,000.
