About this opportunity

The State of Idaho, specifically the Idaho State Liquor Division (ISLD) through the Division of Purchasing, is seeking On-Call HVAC Repair & Maintenance Services for its facilities located in Ada County. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicits comprehensive HVAC maintenance and repair services, including monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections, as well as both non-emergency and emergency repair interventions. The contract is scheduled to commence on 7/1/2024, with an initial one-year term and the potential for four additional one-year renewal periods, creating a maximum potential contract duration of five years. Vendors must submit a written request to attend a mandatory pre-bid site inspection by 5/9/2024, and quotes must be electronically submitted through the IPRO system by the established deadline. Award criteria will focus on selecting the most responsive and responsible vendor with the lowest total cost, as detailed on the Price Sheet (Attachment B). Bidders are required to provide references, valid licenses, and appropriate certifications as part of their submission package. The selected contractor will be expected to respond and arrive at the ISLD facility within 3-5 business days to perform requested maintenance or repairs.

While specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to be open to qualified HVAC service providers who can meet the technical and operational requirements. The RFQ does not indicate any incumbent vendors or specific integration requirements with existing infrastructure. The document does not specify a precise budget range or award value for the contract. Interested vendors should carefully review all documentation, particularly the technical specifications and price sheet, to ensure they can meet the performance standards and response times required by the Idaho State Liquor Division. The competitive nature of the procurement suggests that vendors will need to demonstrate technical expertise, reliability, and cost-effectiveness to be considered for the contract.

Opportunity text

The Idaho Public Television has requested an exemption from competition for the purchase of Vape project production services. If approved, an exemption from competition may allow the agency to procure the property with limited or no competitive process. Exemption from competition is at the discretion of the DOP Administrator. In the interest of transparency, DOP is offering suppliers the opportunity to review this requested exemption and provide relevant information. The decision remains discretionary, and suppliers have no right to appeal the Administrator's decision. Suppliers are invited to provide information that may help the DOP Administrator make a decision regarding this requested exemption from competition. Please review the Agency's request, attached in the Buyer Attachment section of IPRO. You are invited to provide information that may help support or contradict the claim that competition would be impractical, unreasonable, or disadvantageous to the State under the circumstances. Submit your information by attaching it in the Supplier Attachments section of IPRO and submitting your response or emailing purchasing@adm.idaho.gov. To be considered by the Administrator, all information must be submitted prior to the closing date and time listed in IPRO.
