About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center Hanscom Air Force Base seeks professional services for repair, configuration, and performance verification of a Security Archive Workstation system at the 6th Space Warning Squadron, Cape Cod Space Force Station, Massachusetts, with proposals due September 8, 2026. This is a Total Small Business set-aside procurement.
Place of performance is Cape Cod Space Force Station, Bourne, Massachusetts. The work involves restoring a Honeywell Vindicator V5 2013 edition SAW to fully operational status in compliance with OEM specifications and site security standards. The primary technical challenge is that the current server retains data for only two to three days instead of the required three years (minimum two-year regulatory retention); additionally, the server access computer is currently locked and inaccessible. The contractor will receive available installation information to support configuration efforts. The SAW-V5 system comprises Microsoft Access-based applications (SAW-V5, SmartSave5, and Proteus5) that manage long-term storage of Vindicator configuration and event data, logging, report generation, and network communications via RS-485 serial connection.
The period of performance is 90 days from award. Questions are due September 1, 2026; answers will be posted to SAM.gov by September 3. Offers must be submitted via email to Contract Specialist 1st Lieutenant Samantha Dougherty (samantha.dougherty.1@us.af.mil) and Contracting Officer Eva Leavitt (eva.leavitt@us.af.mil) and must remain valid for at least 90 days. The NAICS code is 561621 (Security Systems Services except Locksmiths); the PSC code is J063. Evaluation is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Technical proposals must not exceed 25 pages and must include a completed bid schedule with pricing to no more than two decimal places, plus a technical proposal demonstrating understanding of requirements and capability to perform all work per the Statement of Work. Prevailing wage rates apply under the Service Contract Act for Middlesex County, Massachusetts, with rates ranging from $16.67 to $62.11 per hour plus fringe benefits.
