About this opportunity
The Department of the Army National Guard is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the re-striping of the Main Aircraft Parking Apron at the 177th Fighter Wing in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The scope of work involves removing existing airfield markings and restriping the concrete and asphalt apron in accordance with a provided marking plan. The contract is a 100% small business set-aside with a NAICS code of 237310 and a construction magnitude between $100,000 and $250,000. The award will be based primarily on the offeror's past performance on similar airfield striping projects, with price being the secondary factor. Proposals are due by June 18, 2024 at 1:00 PM local time, and a pre-bid conference and site visit will be conducted by the government.
The project is subject to specific requirements, including the need for bid guarantee, payment, and performance bonds for offers over $150,000. Contractors must adhere to all solicitation terms and amendments posted on SAM.gov, and any discrepancies are to be resolved in favor of the more stringent requirement. The work must be completed within 150 calendar days after contract award, with on-site work limited to a 30-day period between June 1 and August 7, 2024.
