About this opportunity

The 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base is procuring grease trap cleaning services for seven buildings through Request for Quote FA466125Q0141. The contractor must provide comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of underground gravity grease traps, including removal and proper disposal of non-hazardous waste, grease, and sludge, while complying with Texas state and local laws and documenting safety hazards during inspections. Services must be performed with 100% on-time completion with only one discrepancy allowed per year, as additional discrepancies will negatively impact yearly evaluations. The evaluation will be conducted on a best value basis considering both price and technical factors. An optional site visit was held on June 12, 2025, with quotes due by June 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST via email submission.

This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 562998 with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. The contract structure includes a base period from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, followed by four one-year option periods extending through June 30, 2030, plus a potential six-month extension through December 31, 2030. The work involves cleaning seven grease traps and two grit traps across nine buildings with varying service frequencies (monthly and semi-annual) and estimated waste volumes ranging from 300 to 5,000 gallons per location. Emergency services are included with a not-to-exceed amount of $3,000 per contract year. All services will be performed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas, with specific requirements for weekday service between 5:30 AM and 12:00 PM and 24-hour response times for emergency calls.
